Hadrian's Wall Walk
On 14th July, five of Gary's friends (Brendan Mark, Daniel Costley, James Sheldrake, Levi Pickup and Nathan Longwade) are setting out to trek the whole length of Hadrian's wall from coast-to-coast which is around 85 miles and to complete in just 3 days (that's just over 1 marathon per day)!

3 Peaks Challenge
We are a team of 5 friends: Dan, Acer, Will, Dave and Daryl and we are taking on the three peaks challenge. The plan is to trek the highest peaks of England , Scotland and Wales within 24 hours (including driving!). We are taking on this mammoth challenge on 28th/29th July to raise money for key medication for a very good friend of ours, Gary Welsh, who is fighting stage 4 bowel cancer at the age of 35.

Three Peaks Challenge
Gary's close friends Tom and Jade are undertaking the mammoth three peaks challenge in just 24 hours!
Tom and Jade will be climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon on 19th August, so please head to the GoFundMe page linked below if you wish to sponsor them.
Martin's Ultra 100k Marathon
Lizzy’s brother Martin is doing an unbelievable 100k ultra marathon walk in September!

Skydive for Gary
On Saturday 17th of June, Gary's mum Lis jumped out of a plane at 13000ft to complete a sponsored skydive in support of her son, Gary. At 68 years old, Lis never thought she would choose to take part in a skydive, but she also never thought her son would be in the position he is.
Lis raised an amazing £1,700 for the skydive!

Football 4 Gary
On 27th May, Football 4 Gary - the charity football match and family fun day - brought together friends, family and members of the community for a fun-filled day of sun, football, face paint and food, as well as a raffle filled to the brim with amazing prizes.
Congrats to Gary's Old Boys who took the trophy home!
We'd like to say a HUGE thank everyone for joining us on the day and helping to raise funds for Gary's treatment.

Ellouise's Bike Ride
On Saturday 27th May, Gary and Lizzy's 10 year old niece Ellouise is raising funds for his medical treatment by doing a sponsored bike ride!
Ellouise, along with her mum Alice, grandad Nigel and grandma Katrina, will be completing the bike ride starting at Stowmarket and finishing at the fun day in Stanton.
Which is a total of approximately 19 miles!!

28 Mile Easter Trek
While most of us were relaxing during the long weekend, Gary, Lizzy and her sister Alice walked a whopping 28 miles on Easter Saturday - longer than a marathon!

Charity Golf Day
Gary's friends Nate Long-wade and Gary Rayner organised a Charity Golf Day at Stowmarket Golf Club, and raised an amazing £1950 for the GoFundMe!

Wear a Football Shirt to Work Day
Tom Marsden and his colleagues at Suffolk New College's Rural campus in Otley took part in the Wear a Football Shirt to Work Day in the Inclusive Learning department.
They used the opportunity to raise awareness of Bowel Cancer with their students and to add funds to Gary's GoFundMe page.
Manchester Half Marathon
Lauren recently ran the Manchester Half Marathon to help raise funds for Gary's treatment.
Lauren smashed it and raised a whopping £2,050!! Amazing.

Fifers Lane's Charity Fundraiser
A HUGE thank you to Debbie George who raised an amazing £1750 for Gary's treatment fund!
Debbie organised the Fifers Lane Charity Fundraiser, which included a dress down day, cream teas and a raffle.
